3. Choose someone you’re comfortable with.
All the board certifications and awards in the world mean nothing if you don’t feel comfortable with your plastic surgeon. Pay attention to how he or she makes you feel during the initial consultation. Does your plastic surgeon put you at ease, or are you nervous to ask questions? Does he or she treat you in a dismissive manner, or does he or she take the time to make you feel fully informed about your decision to undergo surgery?
