Accreditation Matters
The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, also known as AAAHC, is an independent non-profit organization committed to patient safety, quality healthcare, and value. The accreditation process begins with a rigorous peer-based review followed by an on-site evaluation by expert physicians and nurses involved in ambulatory healthcare. Accreditation is one of the most prestigious honors a medical facility can achieve and means that the Surgical Center at Pittman Plastic Surgery has met national standards for quality healthcare and patient safety set by AAAHC.
Adjoining our office, the AAAHC Surgical Center allows Dr. Pittman and Dr. Venditto to perform cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, especially more comprehensive ones such as mommy makeover, at Pittman Plastic Surgery instead of at an off-site medical facility. Patients can enjoy a higher quality of care by our medical team in a safe and private environment from their initial consultation all the way through surgery and recovery.
In addition to our AAAHC Surgical Center, our medical team also performs minimally invasive cosmetic treatments in the office such as CoolSculpting® non-surgical fat reduction, and cosmetic injectables. Medical grade skincare products are also available in our office to help our plastic surgery patients maintain and care for their skin post-procedure.
