Case 303 - 37-year-old with BRCA mutation who underwent bilateral nipple sparing mastectomies with placement of pre-pectoral (above muscle) tissue expanders. Final pathology revealed that she did in fact have a breast cancer. These photos show her following her tissue expander-to-implant exchange with lift and fat grafting.

Case 303 - 37-year-old with BRCA mutation who underwent bilateral nipple sparing mastectomies with placement of pre-pectoral (above muscle) tissue expanders. Final pathology revealed that she did in fact have a breast cancer. These photos show her following her tissue expander-to-implant exchange with lift and fat grafting.

Case 304 - This is a 59-year-old patient who had previous right breast cancer treated with lumpectomy and radiation therapy. She presented to me with a new right and left breast cancer. She underwent bilateral latissimus dorsi flap reconstruction with placement of tissue expanders. She has now recovered well from her tissue expander-to-implant exchange operation, and is thrilled with her results. She is anticipating nipple tattooing.

She subsequently developed a phyllodes tumor of the left breast requiring mastectomy. She underwent left breast mastectomy with latissimus dorsi flap reconstruction and tissue expander placement. These photos show her now status-post tissue expander-to-implant exchange. She is thrilled with the symmetry of her result and does not desire nipple reconstruction.
